October = Thinking About Getting Serious

It's October and that means it is time to buckle down and really get serious about thinking about finals. At about this time in the semester I can get an idea of what is likely going to be on the final exam and can start framing both reviewing previous stuff and looking at new stuff through that perspective. Within a few short weeks, the color pencils will come out for picture drawing time and the hunt for plenty of practice exams will begin. Until then, it's just a steady sputtering start to getting serious.
